Understanding Scent Notes
Every candle has a scent journey made up of three layers:
Top Notes - The first impression of the fragrance, these are the light, airy scents that hit your senses immediately when you smell or light the candle. They tend to be fresh, citrusy, or herbal and fade the quickest.
Middle Notes (Heart Notes) - These form the core of the fragrance and emerge once the top notes dissipate. They add depth and character, often featuring floral, fruity, or spice elements.
Base Notes - The foundation of the scent, these are the rich, lasting notes that linger even after the candle is extinguished. Common base notes include woods, musk, amber, and vanilla.
Together, these layers create a well, balanced, immersive fragrance experience.
